What color lines do you use?
We use Mask with Vibrachrom by Davines, and Pravana Chromasilk.
What is your cancellation policy?
We require 24 hour notice for cancellations. Full policies can be found on our “contact us” page.
Do you offer any organic products available for purchase?
We carry Davines and Kevin Murphy Haircare which are formulated with certified organic ingredients. These lines are also Vegan, Gluten-free, Cruelty-free, Sulfate/Paraben-free, Sustainably sourced ingredients, and have Eco-conscious packaging.
Do you offer gift certificates?
Yes! We offer gift certificates to the salon, for products, and for individual stylists.
Do you offer wedding, special occasion, and formal hair styles? Are you available to travel to the location the day of the wedding?
Yes we have stylists that specialize in wedding, special occasion, and formal hair styles. We are available to travel to your location on your big day. Prices start at $85 for in-salon styling and start at $135 for travel.
Do you accept credit cards?
We accept all major credit cards.
Do you offer makeup artistry for weddings and special occasions?
Yes! One of our fabulous stylists, Laurie Rourke, is also a makeup artist. Contact Laurie at the salon 603.431.7838 or visit her website laurierourke.com for more information.
Do you offer waxings?
Yes, we offer facial waxing only.
If my stylist is booked is it ok to see someone else in the salon?
Absolutely! We have a wonderful team that are always happy to work with you if your stylist is unavailable.
Where is the best place to park?
We have on-site parking.
Do you accept gratuities?
Gratuities are always appreciated for exceptional service.
How did we get our name
Years ago there were only a few established salons in Portsmouth. The prior owner wanted to bring something trendy and new to the area for many clients that drove to Boston to have their hair done. He opened In Boston to bring a bit of Boston to Portsmouth, NH.
